There’s this drink and cookie shop in my home state called Twisted Sugar that my family and I love to frequent. All of their cookies are amazing but one of my personal favorites is their birthday cake cookies. The only problem is that they are a limited edition cookie and I’ve only seen them featured twice for a month each time. They are so darn good and I’m just not okay with having them once a year, so I made a copycat and I have to say… I nailed it. Taste

Why You’ll Love Them

They are easy to make. The only prep work involved for this healthy recipe is slicing a sweet potato, then roasting it with a few seasonings. Once the slices are tender, you can add any toppings you love!

After two years of COVID-related hiatus, the Rossini Festival International Street Fair is back in all its glory. And in addition to its usual lineup of beautiful live music, food, shopping and lots of outdoor, family-friendly fun, this year’s festival features — besides its namesake — one of the most beloved composers in all of opera.

Giacomo Puccini, born midway through the 19th century, gave us some of the most ravishing music ever made in such operas as “Madama Butterfly,” “La Bohème” and “Tosca.” Even if you don’t know his name, you probably know some of his tunes. Aretha Franklin covered at least one of them.

There will be 700 performers on five stages at the 2022 Rossini Festival International Street Fair.
