‘Our children will know their rich history’ — Jackson celebrates Juneteenth with festival job fair

JACKSON, Mich. (WILX) – Black-owned organizations, food items vehicles and dwell new music crammed the streets of downtown Jackson on Saturday in celebration of Juneteenth.

Jackson University with other regional organizations hosted their once-a-year Juneteenth occupation honest. People experienced the prospect to store, eat and implement for employment.

Attendees like Metropolis of Jackson Main Fairness Officer John Willis, remembered the that means powering the holiday break.
