Malaika Arora says she took up cooking as a challenge when Arhaan said she can’t do it

Malaika Arora has a son, Arhaan Khan, with ex-husband Arbaaz Khan.

Along with regular exercise and yoga, Malaika Arora credits healthy and balanced diet for her toned body. At the same time, she says that occasional cheat meals are allowed. More than eating food, the actress loves to cook and says that it was because of her son, Arhaan Khan, that she started cooking. Malaika recently shot for a celebrity cooking show where she revealed that she took up cooking as a challenge after her son questioned her culinary skills.

MALAIKA ARORA SAID HER SON SAID SHE CAN’T COOK

Malaika Arora will be seen on the fourth episode of Star vs Food, a celebrity cooking show. On the show, she cooks her all-time favourite comfort food, Malabar fish curry, for her close ones including sister Amrita Arora, and friends Preeta Sukhtankar and Sarvesh Shashi with the help of Chef Prateek Sadhu.

The actress revealed that her son Arhaan Khan loves food cooked by her and it was him because of whom she started cooking. She said, “Whenever I get the time. My son loves it actually, he likes. I actually started cooking because of him. He once came back from school and told me, ‘Mumma, all the other parents cook such yummy stuff and you don’t know how to cook.’ Actually, that was one of the challenges that I took up when I said, you know what, I will show you and I can do this! So, I cook for him pretty often.”

MALAIKA ARORA FILLS IN FOR SHILPA SHETTY ON SUPER DANCER CHAPTER 4

Malaika Arora has been roped in to replace Shilpa Shetty for a few episodes of Super Dancer Chapter 4 as the latter couldn’t travel to the shoot’s new location. Super Dancer – Chapter 4 has moved their shooting location to Daman. Terence Lewis will also be seen along with Malaika in the upcoming episode of the dance reality show. In the new promos of the show, Malaika and Terence are seen getting mesmerised by the performances of the young dancers. Geeta Kapur and Anurag Basu also feature in the promos.

Coming back to Star vs Food, Malaika Arora is the fourth celebrity guest on the cooking show. Earlier, celebs like Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar and Arjun Kapoor appeared on the show.

Arhaan Khan is Malaika Arora’s son with ex-husband Arbaaz Khan. They tied the knot in 1998 and got a divorce on 2017. While Malaika is currently dating Arjun Kapoor, Arbaaz is in a relationship with Italian model and actress Georgia Adriani.
